He had stayed out too late with Liv. Sawyer was tired for practice the next day, going to have to survive off of coffee, none of that muddy water stuff that they called tea. It was all worth it, though. The instant connection, the magnetic pull to her from just her very smile. The warmth of her lips, the spark of electricity that flowed through his entire body when they connected. The ease of their movements on the dance floor. The flirtatious and playful smiles, the hammering of his heart, his stomach fluttering with rioting butterflies. He couldn't wait until after practice to owl her, make plans to see her again. He was so disappointed that their night had gotten interrupted, but it just made the Chaser that more excited to see her. While Sawyer was reliving the night before, Mason had called the team together to introduce the new member of the team. He knew that they had been in talks with a few people, but they had kept the finalists private. Sawyer didn't care who it was as long as they were up to par with him. From the few times he had worked with Jack, the Senior Chaser had gotten complacent. Hopefully new blood would recharge something in him. Mason introduced the new Chaser as Olivia Moretti, but Sawyer knew her as Liv, the woman from the night before. Olivia Moretti

The night did not end the way she wanted it to thanks to management's last minute owl, but Olivia wouldn't have traded that night for anything. Meeting Sawyer had to have been the most amazing moment of her life. He was exciting, charming, electric and his kiss and his touch left her wanting more. She spent the rest of the night thinking about him, imagining what their next meeting would be like, hoping this time they would be uninterrupted. Just the thought alone left her chest bubbling with anticipation, her heart hammering against her ribs knowing she would feel his hands on her again. And while she slept, she dreamed of the night she met the most intriguing wizard.
Liv was tired the next morning, only getting a few measly hours of sleep, but a latte was all she needed to get her day started. After drinking her latte and eating a hearty breakfast, Olivia showered and dressed herself to prepare for her first day as a professional player. She brushed her teeth and collected her things before Apparating to Wimbourne Stadium. With her bag slung over her shoulder and her hand gripping her broom tightly, Liv made her way inside to be greeted by her team. Her eyes passed over each of the players, but she did a double take when she saw the same handsome face she saw last night. The Captain introduced her to the group, but her eyes were on Sawyer. One by one, each of her teammates introduced themselves; there was Mason the Captain and Seeker, George the Keeper, Jack the Chaser, Teddy and Lewis the Beaters, and at last, Sawyer. Liv shook their hands, smiling at each one, but when her eyes met Sawyer's again her heart picked up its pace, thrumming deliciously in her chest. She held her hand out to him. "Sawyer," she said with the most subtle of lilts.

His eyes didn't leave her. They hadn't the night before, and they weren't going to now. When she was in the room, Liv commanded it, at least when it came to Sawyer. His electric eyes watched her as she greeted the team first, his mind wondering how fate had brought them together last night and now together on the same team. Was it fate? Some divine intervention? Or pure coincidence? Sawyer had once would say that it was coincidence. But once upon a time, there was a time when he didn't believe in magic. He didn't know what the world was capable of, but he was grateful that it swept this beautiful Italian into his life.
Finally, she got to him, her radiant smile beaming at him, just as he remembered last night. There was more of a sparkle in her whiskey eyes. Was it from the light or from their meeting last night? Sawyer's knew what his was from. "Olivia," he said, grasping her hand and shaking it. He gave her his winning smile once again. "Welcome to the team."

Warmth flooded her as his hand slid into hers, her smile brightening even more as electricity shot up her arm. Her dark eyes were glued to his, getting lost in the deep, blue ocean that was shining back at her. Butterflies started swarming inside her and her heart was thrumming faster in her chest. Olivia didn't think she'd ever get enough of this feeling. She hoped it stayed. "Thank you," she said graciously. Their hands lingered long enough to elicit a throat clearing and Liv let go, though her eyes never left his. "Yes, welcome!" said Mason, clapping a hand to her shoulder. Olivia had to tear her gaze away from Sawyer to look at him, offering a softer smile. "There's some practice uniforms in the girl's locker room if you want to get changed and meet us out on the pitch," he said. Liv nodded and looked back at Sawyer, giving him a small, private smile before she walked past him to enter the locker room.

There was something so strong about her presence, that surrounded by his teammates, the sport that made him who he was, he was able to forget everything, and only notice her. Just like at the bar last night, surrounded by loud music and a crowd of people, there was just the two of them. Unfortunately, Mason had to ruin the moment. Olivia and Sawyer removed their hands, but kept their eyes on each other. His hands were vibrating, wanting to touch more of her. She left the room to get changed. The rest of the team were conversing and getting ready to head out to the field. Sawyer was ready and snuck out of the room into the hallway, catching Olivia by the wrist, pulling her to him and connecting their lips together.

Her body was positively vibrating as she walked away from him, entering the locker room to get changed. Her heart hadn't stopped racing and her stomach was still all aflutter. Her lips pulled into a happy grin, her teeth grazing her bottom lip as a giddiness bubbled up inside her. She had never been more excited. Olivia had gotten an offer from Puddlemere, but she went with the Wasps because she wanted a chance to rise into her stardom and really make a name for herself. The fact that Sawyer, her Sawyer, was on her team just made her feel more confident in her choice.
Olivia changed quickly and stuffed her bag and clothes into a locker. Tying her hair up in a ponytail, she bent down to pick up her broom and head out for the pitch. She could hear her teammates conversing from the hallway, knowing she had time, but she was determined to be the first out there. Liv had made it halfway through the hallway before slender fingers were closing around her wrist. Olivia smiled, knowing it was him before he pulled her to him, meeting him in a fiery kiss. She dropped her broom and her water bottle, her hands immediately sliding up his chest and around his neck, her fingers dancing in the hair at the nape of his neck. Fire spread from her lips as they moved with his.

Her kiss was fiery, just like last night, igniting his blood. She seized the air from his lungs. His pulse fluttered in his throat. Sawyer was certain that she was aware of it as her hands roamed up his chest, moving to the back of his neck. His hands glided to her low back, drawing her in closer to him. He knew, especially from last night, that there would be nothing close enough to Liv with barriers between them, but he would take what he could get, especially when he didn't know when he was going to see her again. His hands bunched at the fabric at her low back, already wishing they weren't there. Sawyer bit her bottom lip softly. "Why didn't you tell me you got signed with the Wasps'," he asked before connecting their lips again.

Her entire body was tingling as her lips moved fluidly with his, Olivia letting out a soft groan as he pulled her closer. She knew that it wouldn’t be enough, but she was more than happy to take it, feeling starved of his kiss when in reality it had only been less than six hours since they last connected. Her heart was pounding hard in her chest, liable to crack a rib, but she didn’t care. Nothing felt better than his lips on hers, his fingers bunching up the fabric of her clothes, telling her that he wanted more, too. She couldn’t help the small moan that escaped her as he bit her lip, her eyes fluttering open for only a moment before his lips were on hers again. Liv smiled into the kiss and wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling herself as close as possible. “I didn’t want you to see me differently,” she murmured against his lips before she deepened the kiss. The chatter of the rest of their teammates was starting to get closer, louder, and Liv knew that their moment was coming to a close. She kissed him harder, her fingers digging into his shoulders, before she tore away from him last second.
Her lips felt swollen and she could tell that her face was flushed, her heart galloping in her chest. Olivia wanted more than that; she wanted to feel all of him, but this was hardly the time or place. But he just had to get her all worked up before practice even begun. She quickly composed herself and smiled as their teammates caught up to them.

Her soft moans reverberated through his spine, urging him to leave practice with her, and continue what they were doing last night before they were interrupted. The need was still there, even though not even six hours had passed. Sawyer had a strong feeling that the need would always be there, and continually grow, with seeing her every day. He didn't know if that was going to be a good or bad thing. But with their bodies connected and lighting a fire in the other, it was going to be the best fucking thing in the world.
She claimed that she didn't want him to see her differently; she was already different. Everything about her. The way she held herself, talked, danced, kissed, looked, dressed. Everything about her called and spoke to Sawyer in a way that no one else had. She was magnetic, a gravitational pull that he couldn't escape. Sawyer fervently kissed her back as they heard their teammates approaching. It wouldn't be the last time he kissed her that day, and he couldn't wait to count down the moments. "You're already different, Liv," he whispered to her as the team came into view, wishing practice was already over so he could feel those perfect lips against his again.

The look he gave her nearly made her melt, Olivia willing herself to keep form. His words caused a shiver to run up her spine, a mischievous glint in her eye as she gave him a heated stare. By the time Mason and the other caught up to them, however, she was looking at the rest. Mason patted her on the shoulder, giving her a warm smile. "That's more like it! Alright, let's get out there." Liv smiled at her team as they walked past, Liv pulling the rear with Sawyer. She gravitated toward him, her pinky catching his.

His eyes didn't leave her. They were glued to her. It was going to be hard to hide his attraction to her, hide his need for her. He would try his best to. At least when the shock of seeing her wore off, maybe it would be easier. Mason said something, but Sawyer didn't quite catch it. His heart was thumping too loudly in his ears at her smile and the effects of their heated kiss. Mason led the way out onto the field, the two newbies at the end walking close enough that his little finger interlocked with hers in the dark hall.
When they stepped onto the field, Sawyer, regretfully, moved away from her, grabbing his broom that the kitman laid out. He joined the circle that the team was forming, obviously standing near Liv. "Ready to show me what you got," he asked with a teasing smile, recalling her words the night before that she was a great Chaser.

Her body yearned to be closer to him, but the little bit of contact their pinkies made rejuvenated her and she was able to busy herself with setting her water bottle down and mounting her broom before he was back at her side again. Her gaze was immediately pulled to him, this magnetic force of a man drawing her in every step of the way. Her lips pulled into a grin at the sight of his smile, leaning in a little to say, "I was born ready." The others mounted their brooms and took off, getting into position, and Liv threw him a wink before kicking off the ground and soaring into the sky. Her broom was customized to her, made by one of the best broom makers in the country, and it obeyed her every whim. She hovered above the center where Mason was working on opening the trunk with Jack, her eyes on Sawyer as he hovered nearby. When she heard the familiar growl of a Bludger flying past, her eyes moved to the Quaffle.
Mason tossed the ball in the air and the Chasers were off. Sawyer got the Quaffle first and Liv chased after him, dodging Bludgers as they soared to her and catching the Quaffle as it was passed to her. It quickly became apparent that their chemistry on the pitch was as electric as it was off it. Olivia and Sawyer moved as if they could read each other's thoughts, so intuitively connected. Jack was having a hard time catching up. She still passed to Jack, but he was harder to read than Sawyer was, but she worked her hardest every step of the way.

Things were just as effortless and electric with Liv today as they were last night. She was a spitfire, ad always ready to blow him away with that killer smile. She winked at him before kicking off into the air. An entertained smile filled his face, shaking his head as he pushed off after her, catching the quaffle that Mason threw. Sawyer flew through the air, hearing bludgers whizz by as wind roared in his ears. He saw Olivia easily keeping up with him, tossing her the quaffle. Everything was smooth sailing after that. They read each other easily, just like on the dance floor. Jack had a difficult time keeping up and reading the cues.
They landed on the ground when Mason blew the whistle, signaling that practice was over. The huddled together as a team. "Great job today, guy. Olivia, you're a fantastic addition to the team. Keep it up," Mason said before dismissing them for the day. The team started walking back. Jack seemed to hesitate, appearing to want to talk to Olivia, but turned around when he saw that Sawyer wasn't hesitating and walked up to her. "You're better than I thought you were going to be," he said with a teasing smirk.

Her heart was still hammering in her chest from a great ride, her limbs buzzing as she landed and stood by as Mason dismissed them, feeling absolutely overjoyed with how well her first day went. That was exhilarating and more fun than she has ever had. Her dark eyes were on Sawyer, watching him with a smile as he walked over to her. Her smile brightened when he complimented her, a tingle running through her to her navel at his smirk. Her eyes flickered over to see the last of their teammates enter the locker room and she reached out to grab hold of his jersey, bunching up the fabric in her fingers, pulling him to her. "I'm glad you liked it," she said before she pulled him in to connect their lips again.

Her lips were pure electricity. It would sound cheesy to say that he had never felt this way kissing someone before, but it was true. Kissing her was like his first breath of oxygen, his first sip of water. It was better than the first time he had gotten on a broom, his first win, his first contract. Everything about her was addicting, and he had only met her yesterday. He kissed her back feverishly, grabbing her face with his hands, his fingers cupping the back of her head. Kissing her with all the need that had been pent up from yesterday, everything that had been put on hold. "I'm sure I'm gonna like everything about you," he said with a smirk against her lips before his tongue started tangling with hers.
