Character History: Harry and Elizabeth had met at cafe while reaching for the last cookie. It sparked conversation between the two that lasted well over an hour. Phone numbers were exchanged. By the time Liz had gotten home, there was already a message waiting for her. The two dated for a year before Liz decided to let him in on her secret - that she was from a magical family, but she was a Squib. At first, Harry thought that his girlfriend was joking. After the help of Elizabeth’s sister, who was a witch, Harry believed her, even though it still seemed unbelievable.

The two continued to date for five more years before getting married. Since the two had been together for a decent amount of time, the plan was to start having children fairly quickly. Several months had gone by, but nothing. Months turned into years with multiple doctors' appointments, but nothing seemed to work. It was devastating for Liz to keep trying to no avail. Harry was already five years older and reaching 40 and her reaching a ‘geriatric pregnancy’ age. It didn’t seem feasible to have a newborn Just when Liz had given up trying to have children herself, her and Harry fell pregnant with their first child - Wesley.

Once Wesley was born, his parents were happy and blessed with their child. With how difficult it was to have Wes and Harry and Liz older, they weren’t planning to have another child. Two years after Wesley was born, it was quite a surprise when Rhys arrived. Despite the youngest child not being unplanned, he completed the family.

Because Liz was a Squib, she wondered if her children would have magical abilities or not. Wesley’s first magical abilities were when he was four when he asked for a cookie before dinner. His mother told him no. The next thing both of them knew, the cookie jar exploded. Rhys’s demonstration of magic was not as exciting or dangerous. He only caused a pen to float.

Since his mother had never been able to attend Hogwarts for herself, Wes was filled in about the castle and classes from his mother’s family. After hearing their stories and experiences, Luke was excited to receive his own letter and gain his own experiences in the magical world.

Wesley was curious for his new adventure, especially to ride the train by himself. He was surprised to see that other first-years were nervous. The boat ride was indescribable to him. Even though he was told about the vast castle for most of his childhood, it did not compare to what his imagination came up with. It was better. Despite how curious he had been on the train ride, there was nothing like waiting for the Sorting Hat. He was placed in Slytherin. 


His first several years of school went by more smoothly than his time in Primary school. He wrote lines after lines, being punished for his "adventures" almost every day. At Hogwarts, it was only once or twice a week. It didn't mean that he had behaved more; Wesley had only gotten more careful at not getting caught. However, that didn't stop him when a classmate would dare him to do something. Wesley was never on to turn down a dare, no matter how outlandish or questionable it might be.
