The Room of Requirement was really something, wasn't it? Lola was amazed when she entered the expansive room, looking from the bar to the booths to the dance floor, all perfectly laid out. Music was blaring from some unknown source and the room was already crowded with her classmates. Her honeyed eyes swept over the crowds, spotting some of her friends on the dancefloor, her brother wrapped up in Rose Kelly. Lola rolled her eyes and smiled like she did every time she saw them with their lips locked together. She couldn't decide what she wanted to do first; her friends had spotted her from where they had been dancing and Lola waved excitedly to them, ready to bound over to them when she spotted Campion over by the bar. Well, she could use a drink and it would be rude not to speak to the host.
Lola approached the Slytherin with a warm smile, reaching over for a bottle of firewhisky before she leaned back onto her heels. "Great party," she complimented him, gesturing to the crowds behind her. "This one is a lot bigger than the last, yeah? Lucky the professors didn't catch everyone getting here." Lola brought the bottle to her lips and took a swig, wincing at the burn as it traveled down her gullet. Smiling again, she offered him the bottle. "You bribe the prefects?" There was no way they hadn't heard about this party if all these people were here.

The party was in full swing, and Campion had settled by the bar. It was the most appropriate place to be. He could see all of the guests enjoying themselves, and he could drink to his heart's content at the same time. He'd been pulled away twice already. Once for a chat with some of his friends who wanted to introduce him to this person and that one. The second time was to dance with one of his fellow Slytherins. Now he was back in his comfort space, eyes watchful, but his attention was mostly on his younger sister Jazzy. She was all giggles and smiles for some Ravenclaw boy. His attention waned for a moment as a familiar face approached. His expression softened just a touch. "Hey there Lola Bunny." He looked her over once, and then back out to the crowd. "I invited a few more people. Keeps things fresh." He grinned when she mentioned the professors. "Mm, it's every person for themselves if they get caught along the way," he mused. He took the bottle as it was passed his way. He raised it in a small cheer. "Don't the muggles have some saying about a magician never telling their secrets?" He took a long swig and placed the bottle on the table. "Don't worry about the logistics of it all. I've got my ways. Kick back and enjoy the party."

Lola's nose playfully scrunched up at the nickname, a bright smile tugging at her lips. She probably would never admit how much she loved it. Campion was fun and he threw wicked parties with his brother, giving the students of Hogwarts something to look forward to besides the endless cycle of classes. Lola liked him. She leaned a hip into the bar, her bright, brown eyes were fixed on his face as he spoke, her lips spread into a wide grin. He referenced a muggle saying and Lola let out a small, musical laugh. Reaching for the bottle, Lola brought it to her lips for another swig before she set it back down. "I plan on it," she said with another laugh. "I always have fun at your parties." Her gaze swept over the crowd again, thinking that this one would be the most fun out of all of them, finding her brother with her dorm mate again. Surprisingly, they weren't kissing, but dancing. Lola couldn't wait to get out on the dancefloor, but she wanted to feel a little more legless before she went out there. Her gaze turned back to Campion. "Everyone seems to be having fun," she observed. "I can't believe the room made a bar. That seems crazy, doesn't it?" Her hand smoothed over the glossy wooden counter as she spoke about it. How many parties had the room been through, she wondered.

If he'd gone through the years at Hogwarts without a single party to distract him from the mundaneness that was classes, he'd probably be in the same boat as his older brother Benjamin. He'd be a dropout and a drunk. He didn't fault Ben for the way he'd handle Leo's loss. He thought there were better avenues, but who really knew what was going through a person's mind? Besides, here he was, nursing a bottle of Firewhisky with a Gryffindor girl. And would you know it, this alcohol had been provided by none other than his alcoholic brother, free of charge at that. Campion dismissed it all with another tilt of the bottle. Maybe he was no better than Ben.
Green eyes were easy as Lola laughed. It sounded like music, very distinct despite all the background noise. He nodded approvingly when she agreed to relax and have fun. Good. Otherwise, the point of the party would be null and void. He looked thoughtful when she claimed to always have fun at the parties he threw. Another moment passed, and he smiled. Campion Evans was no stranger to being prideful. It didn't consume him, but like every other person, he didn't mind having his ego stroked here and there. "I'd be disappointed if you didn't," he told her. He gave the counter a light tap. "That's the beauty of this room. It makes what you need when you need it. Wouldn't be much of a party without a bar."
He leaned back against the counter, blinking once before he nodded to the others who were mingling on the floor. "Why aren't you down there with the rest of them? I've seen you dance. It wouldn't take long for you to find a partner." She was popular enough to pull whoever she wanted. Her friends were down there too.

Lola liked to party. Maybe it's because it's the one time she can really let loose and enjoy herself without worrying about everything under the sun. She liked to lose control every now and then. It was fortunate that Rose Kelly was her dormmate. The girls would get ready together before every party and always find each other to dance with. Things were a little different now that she was dating Finch, but it wasn't like she didn't like to party with her own brother. Those two just really couldn't keep their hands off each other. "Yeah, but, like, a bar in a school?" Lola laughed. "Even the castle wants us to have a good time." She covered her mouth with a hand as she giggled a little more about it. It just seemed so wild to her. She definitely wasn't complaining, reaching for the bottle again to take a swig.
Her chocolate eyes gleaned over him as he leaned against he bar, a playful uptick in her brow as she smiled at him. Lola liked Campion; he was cute, funny, and he knew how to have a good time. She wasn't as forward as Rose was or anything, but she didn't feel any shame in checking him out a little, the alcohol starting to lower her inhibitions. "I wanted to feel good before I got out there," she said, holding up the bottle before bringing it to her lips for another swig. "Why? Are you asking me to dance?"

Campion thought on it for a moment. The room did have a way of creating the unexpected. "Maybe back in the day the Professors used to come here for some R&R," he suggested. "I know I would if I had to teach the same thing every bloody single day for a full year." He gave a small shrug. "A drink or two could make it a lot easier to cope." He smirked. "Why go to Hogsmeade when you've got a perfectly good bar in your own backyard, you know." Campion gave a small wave to a few people who came up to grab drinks. He was always friendly and easygoing. That didn't mean he wasn't aware of Lola looking at him. He turned and gently pulled the bottle back down to the counter. "If you promise not to vomit on my shoes," he told her. He slipped his hand into hers and gave a small tug towards the dance floor. She could drink later. He'd even join her, but it would do no good if she couldn't stand long enough to make the other girls jealous. That wasn't his goal. Campion was naturally friendly, it came easily. He hung out with people that mattered, and limited his mingling with the ones who didn't. He had few qualms with a few people. Most of his problems came from people trying to talk with his sister. Speaking of which, where was Jazzy? He'd lost sight of her again.

She snorted. "When have you ever seen me get that drunk?" Lola was classy, thank you very much. His hand slipped into hers and he was tugging her to the dancefloor, her lips pulling into a smirk as she followed him. The music was so loud that it was pulsing around them with each bass drop, reverberating off the crowded bodies pressed together. It was intoxicating. Lola pulled him close and started moving rhythmically to the beat of the music, his eyes were scanning the crowds and she wondered if he was looking for his sister. Lola recalled seeing Jazzy when she came in, talking to some boy in her class. Curiously, she looked for her own brother and saw him still wrapped up in Rose right where they were before. Her dark eyes moved back to Campion. "You looking for your sister?"

"Never, but there's a first time for everything." He flashed her a smile, a bit of humor brightening his eyes. Lola was the type of person who knew how to have fun without ruining the moment. There was nothing more irritating than a belligerent drunk. He'd been thrown up on before, on two separate occasions. Neither of those people were at the party today. He'd practically written them out of his life because of it. Campion was laid back, but even he had a mean streak. Some things just couldn't be let go. It was easy to meld into the mass of bodies that moved on the dance floor. The music drowned out everything, so most people were occupying themselves moving to the rhythm of the beat. They were lost in the moment, enjoying every second instead of being concerned with what was going to happen tomorrow or the next day. That's why he enjoyed parties. All the world's problems dissolved in the blink of an eye. Nothing mattered but that moment. It was all about living in the now.
Lola pulled him closer and he didn't resist. She moved flawlessly, fluid like water and he matched her rhythm. He'd have to be blind not to acknowledge how good she looked. She was beautiful in her own right, her outfit complimenting her figure. He danced with her until she asked about his sister. "Yes. Do you see her?" He couldn't rely on Finnick, who was also at the party, to keep an eye on their sister. Their older brother was currently in a booth with his tongue down Thalia's throat. Like Jazmina, he often wondered why Finn would choose a Hufflepuff of all people to date. Still, she was good for his brother despite her overly bubbly personality and desire to stick her nose into everyone's business. Campion thought she was a nuisance, but Finn was practically in love. The world was full of mysteries.

Lola was known for her friendliness, her class, her spirit and her humor. She was not known for being a sloppy drunk at parties. Still, she laughed when Campion said there was a first time for everything. "I guess that's true," she said with a giggle. Those few swigs have her feeling loose and warm with pleasant tingles running up and down her body. Yeah, this is where Lola liked to stay. She'd dance until the feeling started to go away and then she'd go back to the bar for a drink or two before she'd get right back out there. Always surrounded by her friends, except for the rare moments she broke away on her own.
The brunette nodded when he confirmed he was looking for Jazzy. He asked if she saw her and Lola cast her gaze over the crowds, scanning the room until it landed on a pretty smile framed by red lips. "Over by the bar, at the back wall," she told him, nodding her head in the direction. "With some girl in her class looks like." Her dark eyes moved back to Campion's face, her manicured brows raised slightly. "Do you want to go over to her?" It didn't matter to her what he wanted to do. If he needed to ditch her to check on his sister, then she'd just go dancing with her friends. He was cute, but Lola wasn't attached or anything.

"I trust you'll keep your word though," he told her, moving a bit closer. He followed her gaze over to the bar. His sister had abandoned the Ravenclaw boy. Good. Was he overprotective? Yes. What choice did he have? She was his only sister. He'd already lost one sibling. Jazzy was intelligent and strong willed, but she was also fragile. No matter how he looked at it, she needed protecting. He blinked when Lola asked if he wanted to go over to his sister. She was different from Rose. The last party they threw, Rose had told him to leave Jazmina to her own devices for a night. He hadn't appreciated her butting in, but Jazmina had had plenty of fun that evening without him or Finnick watching her like a hawk. He was hard pressed to allow her the same freedom, even if they were in the same room. It wasn't like they were down on the Pitch or hanging around the Forbidden Forest where it was easy to sneak away unseen.
"She'll be fine," he finally said after a moment. The blonde Slytherin wasn't in any distress. She was with a friend. He couldn't keep tabs on her forever. He should be grateful she was mingling with everyone instead of locked away in the library or down by the lake, sulking in silence. She knew where to find him and Finnick if she needed anything. Not that she'd ever admit to as much. The only time Jazzy ever required their assistance was when she wanted to get her way. She had all of her brothers wrapped around her pinky finger. She need only ask, and they would come. Relationships were a different story. "I'd rather dance with you." It was true. Campion hadn't thrown the party just for everyone else to have fun. He wanted to let loose just as much as the rest of them. "Thanks for asking though."

Lola was glad that Finch gave her the freedom to be herself, even if they had more than one reason to be overprotective of each other. He knew that she'd give him hell if he tried to control what she did or who she talked to, but things were different with Campion, Finnick, and Jazzy. Lola didn't have an opinion on it because it wasn't her business. Her full lips spread into a smile when he said he'd rather dance with her. "Good," she said in response, nodding when he thanked her for asking. Her wrists were crossed behind his neck, his hands on her hips which were still effortlessly moving to the beat of the music. She looked up at him through her thick lashes, feeling the music pulse through her body, and her lips pulled into a bright smile. Her eyes closed as she got lost in the moment, her body moving along to the music. When she opened them again, she looked around and nearly laughed when she saw a group of salty Slytherins staring daggers at her. Her eyes moved to Campion and she tilted her head to the side, gesturing to the girls. "Looks like someone's jealous."

He could have taken her response as sass, but it would have put a damper on the mood. The point of the party was to chill and relax a bit, all while enjoying some good music, with good drinks, and good people. It wasn't a lot to ask for. Besides, sassy looked good on her. Ha, everything looked good on her. Maybe he'd had a bit of one too many drinks. He let the world around him fade away, his attention strictly reserved for the girl he was dancing with. Little Lola Goldswithe, aka Lola Bunny, if anyone asked him. He didn't quite remember when he'd started calling her by said nickname. She'd never complained, so he'd never stopped. This was a moment worth remembering. He liked how easily they moved together, how everything was silent despite the noise. Green eyes followed Lola's head tilt when she said someone was jealous. Campion found his fellow housemates glaring. They could have come over and asked to steal him away. He'd have obliged. There was enough of him to go around. "Their loss for not speaking up," he responded, gently pressing his forehead against hers. "Want to give them something to be really jealous about," he asked.

Yeah, Lola can be sassy; sass is fun and one thing Lola liked to do was have fun. But she was being absolutely genuine. She wanted to keep dancing with Campion, she wanted to keep feeling this good. It's not like she wouldn't feel good with her friends, but there was just something different about Campion that elevated her on another level. It was almost as intoxicating as the alcohol. Warmth shuddered up her spine as he pressed his forehead to hers, a sly smirk finding its way onto her lips at his words, tingles running up her body. "How could I say no to that?" she responded before pulling herself closer, her lips parting as they met with his. That same warmth that made its way up her spine flooded her body as they were kissing, settling in the pit of her stomach, pooling there. Kissing Campion felt good, better than she thought it was going to. Her hands slid over his shoulders and up to his neck, fingers tangling in the hair at the nape of his neck. One thing was certain, she wasn't going to pull away first.

He was such a hypocrite. First, he'd silently berated his brother for being a drunk, then he'd spent all evening at the bar until Lola had pulled him away. The second was questioning his other brother for his choice to date a Hufflepuff girl, and then Campion had gone off to dance and kiss a Gryffindor. Twice in one night was a bit much for him, but life kept moving forward and so did he. He took note of her sly smirk, relishing how much she enjoyed the idea, just as much as he. She moved closer and he embraced her welcomingly, keeping her steady as their lips met. His green eyes glanced in the direction of the Slytherin girls, amusement sparkling in his eyes as they reared back in disgust and shock. Good. He looked at them a moment longer, daring them to intervene. Dismissing them, he focused on Lola. Her lips were soft, her body warm and comfortable against his. He could feel her hands in his hair and he kissed her deeper, unwilling to pull away, but his lungs needs oxygen. He pulled away almost reluctantly, his face mere inches from hers. There were going to be some rumors, and he welcomed them happily. That kiss was worth it. In fact, he wanted to kiss her again. Not because he wanted to upset the balance of his fellow Slytherin lives. No. He wanted to kiss her just to kiss her. "Having fun yet," he asked.

Lola wasn't a stranger to kissing boys, but she had never enjoyed it quite as much as she was enjoying it now. If that meant something, she wasn't thinking about it. This was more fun than she expected when she came to the seventh floor this evening. Campion deepened the kiss, her mind reeling at his taste as her body melted against him. He pulled away to catch his breath and Lola's chest heaved slightly as she did the same. His face was still so close to hers, his sexy voice reaching her ears. Her lips pulled into a smile. "I think you've outdone yourself with this one, Evans," she said, a soft, musical laugh escaping her before she pulled him right back in.
