Saturday, April 6 | Village of Grasmere Vacation and relaxing really wasn't something Shiloh had much experience with. As a kids, her parents tried to make time for trips. They were often cut short or weren't the family time expected because her mother would get owls daily. It was often obvious Hermione would do her best to be present. Shiloh guessed her own hesitancy to disconnect was a combination of being very much like her mother and not really experiencing the calm of leaving everything behind for a time. It was a good time of the year to try. Work at the wand shop was slow. She had no personal commitments. She used to do things by herself all the time before Danny disrupted everything. She could do it again.
Pulling out her mother's beaded bag, Shiloh looked around, made sure there were no muggles looking too closely before stuffing several shopping bags into the cavernous space of the undetectable extension charm. It was perhaps her favorite gift she'd been given. Very handy. And knowing the history of it made it even more special. Her stomach growled. It was lunch time she supposed. And she skipped breakfast. Spotting a small bistro nestled in a row of shops, Shiloh took a patio seat and studied a menu while she waited for a server.
