Breakfast couldn't of come at a better time for the growing young Ravenclaw boy who somehow, managed to wake up and forgot to brush his hair. Perhaps it was due to the late night study or the fact he enjoyed late night study that contributed to his disastrous look for this morning. Rocking his bed hair, Astor , who was still half asleep, managed to find himself sitting at another house's table where he with his eyes closed began to help himself to some orange. " Morning everyone." He greeted whilst rubbing his eyes not necessarily noticing who was around him. After a few years at Hogwarts, things had become almost automatic for him however, today was not that day.

Ivy also had a late night but instead of studying for her potions exam, she was too busy working on her playbook for the Quidditch team. Despite a late night and having to wake up early in the morning, she did not forget to brush her hair. She looked as well put together as ever when the boy with the dark messy hair sat in front of her. She glanced up from her plate, a few of her housemates were staring at him in silence at a response to his greeting. They all shared a look but no one said anything. Ivy put her fork down and watched, unsure if he was even fully awake.
“You look a bit lost,” she said to him with a curious smile on her lips.

It took some time before Astor finally managed to collect his thoughts, flatten his hair and finally wake up to find himself on a table he was not used too. " Oh no." He exclaimed before finally noticing where he was when he saw someone speaking to him. The laughter surrounding him made him feel somewhat embarrassed and being a Metamorphmagus, caused his cheeks to glow bright red almost tomato skin red.
" Hi, Morning." He greeted feeling very small in all that was happening. " I seem to have been to tired to notice I was at the wrong table." He shook his head as he brushed his hair with his fingers causing it to change from a jet black to a platinum silver. " Sorry, it does that often in the morning." It was an indication that he was finally waking up. Ivy Lennox

Ivy was ready to send him back to his own house table, not even sure that he would be able to find his way in his state, when his hair turned a different color out of nowhere. Even surrounded with magic every day, that wasn’t necessarily normal.
“That’s something you don’t see every day,” Ivy said, her eyes widening a bit with intrigue. “You’re a metamorphmagus, right?”
She’d read about them but she’d never met one. It seemed like such a fun ability, being able to change whenever you’d like. Astor’s hair seemed to have changed without him noticing at first so she figured there were some downsides to it.
“I’m Ivy.” She finally introduced herself and raised her eyebrow at him. “And you are?”

The beauty of being a Metamorphmagus was that he was a living breathing party trick “Metamorphmagus yes. “ He replied with a smile on his ace as he began to tussle his hair once again as his hair started to move through a variety of shades of white, grey, silver and eventually, black. “The name is Astor Winterwine. A pleasure to meet you” He greeted with a smile on his face. “ Well, since I’m here, I may as well stay till I’m told to leave. How has your morning been?”

Ivy didn’t give Astor the same courtesy with a smile but she didn’t shoo him away and that was a lot in her books. She wasn’t used to being the welcoming party when a stranger wandered over to the Slytherin table but everyone else seemed to have decided that they weren’t going to bother.
“Pretty uneventful,” she started talking like they were old friends sharing a meal. It was great practice at playing nice which she needed to do if she hoped to stay out of the detention for the foreseeable future. “Everyone else is talking about this party. You going?”
Was everyone invited? She didn’t know, but she was never not invited.
