But what can we say about Vivian?
When V was a little girl, she believed she was a princess; she had the castle and everything to prove it. But, like with any true royal, Vivian learned early on that she was nothing more than a pawn for her father’s empire. A beautiful piece in Marcus Caspar’s game of life.
Vivian was a naive, young girl when she arrived at Hogwarts, still unaware of what was to come in a few years' time. Like most kids her age, she enjoyed flying and spending time at Hogsmeade. She excelled in Charms and D.A.D.A. (her dream was to be an Auror one day because what kid doesn’t dream of being a cop?). What she really enjoyed the most about Hogwarts was the fact that she could be away from home. Vivienne was the kind of mother who would hover over her daughter, and sweet little Max, to the point that Vivian felt suffocated. If one little hair was out of place, Vivienne would be quick to point it out. It seemed that Vivienne understood that her job was to train Vivian to be the perfect trophy for another magical family to take in one day.
Any aspirations Vivian had went out the window the day she met Damien Flint. Where Vivian was vibrant and curious, Damien was stubborn and conservative.. He was a boy who didn't have any ambition simply because he never had to work hard for anything in his life. He got what he wanted before he even had to ask. And while Vivian also never wanted for any material thing, she felt a great pride in working for what she wanted in life. Still, Vivian felt hard for her fellow Slytherin and it seemed that Damien took joy in making her work for his affection. After three years of swooning over him, Vivian was ready to let her crush go. Just when she was starting to form a relationship with a sweet boy from Gryffindor, Damien pulled on the string he’d been dragging along for years.
Vivian had been so fearful that her father would try to marry her off just like he had tried with her older brother, but Damien came from a pureblood family who was in need of Caspar's wealth. V knew she was essentially a glorified dollar princess to her in laws, but it didn’t matter. She was going to happily live out her days with the love of her life.
Life with Damien was not how she imagined. Instead of newlywed bliss, Vivian learned early on that Damien’s late nights at work were spent at his girlfriend’s flat. He didn’t try to hide it at all. The rose colored glasses came off and their relationship soured, it’s something they would never be able to mend. Instead of falling into despair, Vivian decided she could have fun too. She’d just have to be careful about not being caught, because she was not going to be granted the same grace she extended to Damien when she learned of his infidelity.
Vivian had always thought that the second she married, her father would have no use for her any longer. All she had to do was tie a pureblood family to the Caspars. But Marcus always found a way to make use of his children even when they weren’t right under his thumb. Instead of following her dreams to become an Auror, Vivian spent the last few years as a secretary in the Magical Law Enforcement department and reporting back to Marcus whenever possible. Once Marcus kicked the bucket, Vivian took the opportunity to get out of the Ministry.
She spends as much time as possible away from Damien, though her mother wants nothing more than for her to have children to ensure that Vivian’s place in the Flint household is secure. Thankfully, by some miracle, she’s managed not to fall into that trap.
Vivian longs for the day when she can do whatever her heart desires; whether that be pursuing her dreams or absolutely nothing at all. She wants it to be her choice.

Role Playing Sample:
Zigmund Macquoid was Emilia’s first kiss and technically current boyfriend. They both occasionally joked about the fact that Emilia chose to ignore him the latter half of third year instead of breaking up with him. Emilia would consider Ziggy her first love if asked, but that was due to the fact that all the others after him got progressively worse. The truth was that she had never been in love.
Ziggy’s kisses were good though. Well, after many tries. The first time they kissed was super awkward, both of their teeth colliding and Ziggy too scared to touch Emilia anywhere but her shoulder. They eventually overcame that and managed to make out a few times before the non-breakup.
Emilia’s kiss with Fox was ten times better than her first kiss. She always figured that Fox would be bad at this. Not that she thought about it more than once, but she couldn’t say that the sixth year Slytherin girls hadn’t rated the boys in their year based on whether or not they thought they’d be good at kissing. And although someone else in her dorm had lobbied to place him last based on a personal vendetta, he had at least made it to the lower-middle of the pack. Emilia couldn’t wait to report back to her roommates to let them know what she’d discovered.
Oh, no. That’s not happening, some part of her mind was still functioning and telling her what a horrible idea that was.
Instead, Emilia would enjoy the moment. His hot body against hers, his lips accepting her kiss, the moonlight still making this seem like a dream Emilia didn’t want to wake up from. He gently pressed her against the wall and she slightly shuddered when his thumb touched her bottom lip. Emilia was still feeling dizzy from the vodka, the party, and the kisses they shared.
“You don’t have to, you can just be mine,” she said but they both knew it was a complete lie. They were just two kids blindly drunk by vodka and desire.
